In line with UNESCO's global initiative, Dr. S. R. Lasker Library celebrated Digital Learning Week 2026 with a series of student engagement activities focused on artificial intelligence (AI), learning, and the future of education. This year’s theme, "Education in the age of AI: Facts | Frictions | Frontiers," encouraged learners to explore the opportunities, challenges, and future possibilities that AI presents in education.

The Library conducted daily polls titled "My AI Study Habit," which attracted over 200 student participants. These polls prompted students to reflect on the use of AI-powered learning tools, the role of AI in their academic work, and the AI-enabled features available in library databases for discovering scholarly information.

The celebration aimed to encourage students to think critically about AI, evaluate information responsibly, and explore the role of AI in education and research.
